1. About This Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how SRS Tech ("we", "our", or "us") handles information when you use Takewell, an iOS application developed and published by SRS Tech.

By downloading or using Takewell, you agree to the collection and use of information described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. Your Video and Audio

Takewell records video and audio takes using your device's camera and microphone, then runs an on-device speech enhancer to remove room noise and reverb.

• Every take is recorded, enhanced, and stored on your device.
• When you turn on captions, Takewell transcribes your take on your device using Apple's on-device Speech Recognition. Your audio is not sent to Apple or any server for transcription; the text is used only to caption the video you export.
• No video or audio is ever uploaded to our servers or any third-party service. Takewell has no cloud backend to upload to.
• You choose when to export a take to your Photos library; until then, it stays inside the app's local storage.
• Deleting the app removes every take stored on your device.

3. Information We Collect

Takewell does not require or offer an account of any kind. There is no sign-in, and we have no server-side record of who uses the app.

• Scripts you write or paste into the Script Library are stored on your device only.
• Takewell does not include an analytics or crash-reporting SDK. We have no visibility into individual usage; App Store Connect's own aggregate reporting (downloads, crash counts) is the only signal we receive, and it is not tied to your identity.
• Subscription status is checked on-device via Apple's StoreKit 2. See Section 4.

4. Subscriptions & Payment

Takewell Pro is offered as an auto-renewable subscription ($9.99/month or $59.99/year, with a 3-day free trial on the annual plan) through Apple's In-App Purchase system, built on StoreKit 2.

• Apple handles all billing, receipts, and payment information. We never see or store your payment details.
• Your subscription entitlement is verified on-device using Apple's signed transaction data. Takewell has no receipt-verification server of its own.
• Manage or cancel your subscription any time via iOS Settings → your Apple ID → Subscriptions.

5. The Takewell Website & Waitlist

If you join the waitlist at srstech.in/takewell, we collect the name (optional) and email address you submit.

• This information is stored in a Google Sheet via a Google Apps Script endpoint, used only to send you one email when Takewell launches on the App Store.
• The waitlist form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile and a hidden honeypot field to filter automated submissions before they're stored.
• We do not use your waitlist email for any purpose beyond the single launch notification, and you can ask us to remove it at any time. See Section 10.

6. How We Use Your Information

• Waitlist email: To send the one-time notification when Takewell becomes available.
• Subscription entitlement: To unlock Takewell Pro features, verified on your device.

We do not use your information for advertising, behavioral profiling, or any purpose not listed above.

7. Third-Party Services

Takewell and the Takewell website use the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policy:

• Cloudflare Turnstile (waitlist bot protection) — cloudflare.com/privacypolicy
• Google Sheets / Apps Script (waitlist storage) — policies.google.com/privacy
• Apple StoreKit (subscription billing) — apple.com/legal/privacy

8. Data Retention and Deletion

Video, audio, and scripts are stored only on your device and are deleted when you uninstall the app.

Waitlist entries are retained until launch emails are sent, or until you request removal, whichever comes first.

9. Children's Privacy

Takewell is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information via the waitlist form, contact us so we can delete it.

10. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you.

To remove your waitlist entry or exercise any other rights, contact us at admin@srstech.in.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of Takewell after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
